This depends on the project and our press schedule for letterpress printing.
Plan on at least a couple of weeks for design depending on the complexity. And around 5 weeks for most letterpress projects. If you have an idea, the earlier we start planning and get you on the calendar, the better.
Please know that for custom design and letterpress, we often book out months in advance as it takes all our wheels spinning to turn out the heart stopping work you know and love from us.

Please know all projects are first come, first serve. Like at the ice cream counter. But sometimes we can dish out a scoop while someone’s still deciding between pistachio and salted caramel.
Maybe! We love coming up with new ways to make something happen. New systems for new products, crazy different designs, from works on paper, letterpress feats, framed artwork, home decor. We’ve even done lighting (UL certified!) when a retail partner asked, “Can you…”
We love a challenge and have a lot “how tos” under our belt.

Yes!! Make it Happier is different. While some of the designs in your subscription box may be available to purchase on our site later, many of the pieces included are limited edition designs.
We get to play with creating stationery that’s extra special, and our subscription box subscribers get stationery that’s a little above the fold. Kind of like couture vs ready to wear.
We’re able to do this because it works like a CSA: when you join as a subscriber, we’re able to buy some really interesting materials and get busy making. In return, we send you our newest creations & latest finds, delivered to your door.
